New York City Bazar Shopper

Debuting in early 2018 as part of Demna Gvasalia's ongoing "Bazar" shopper line, this bag reproduces the classic New York City tourist-souvenir tote graphic — Statue of Liberty, skyline, and script logo — down to a striking degree. The design became widely discussed when a NYC souvenir manufacturer filed a copyright infringement lawsuit against Balenciaga over its resemblance to it's standard tourist tote designs, cementing its status as one of Demna's most talked-about ironic reinterpretations of everyday objects.
